What an angle blade does

A three-point angle blade mounts to the back of a compact tractor and can be set straight or angled to either side. Angled, it casts material to one side as you drive, which is how gravel gets pulled back to the center of a driveway, how snow gets pushed off to the shoulder, and how a rough surface gets leveled.

Why the angle matters

A fixed straight blade only pushes material ahead of it, which piles up and forces you to stop and clear. Angling the blade lets material flow continuously off one end, so a driveway or lane gets graded in passes instead of in stops and starts. For anyone maintaining a long gravel drive, that is the whole difference.
